I had never heard of the Bolivar Peninsula in Texas until a couple of weekends ago. A friend of mine has been going to Bolivar for several years and swears that this is the place to sneak away to.

Why is Bolivar Peninsula in Texas so desirable to us in Shreveport-Bossier? Well, it's simple, it's less than 4 1/2 hours away from us and there is so much to do. Bolivar offers live music just about every night, yup even on a Monday. No one wants to go on vacation to Crystal Beach or Bolivar Peninsula and just sit around. The events that Bolivar offers makes for a great time with friends and family, good times aren't in short supply here.

Maybe you want to purchase a place where you can use to vacation with your family. Or maybe you use the home for part of the year and list it on Airbnb or Vrbo for the other half so people from all over can enjoy your beautiful home.
