The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is one of the biggest parts of modern pop culture. Even people who wouldn't consider themselves to be comic book fans are invested in the MCU.

Now that Marvel has evolved beyond movies, and has expanded into their Disney+ shows, more and more characters can find their way from the pages of comics into live action roles. But not every character translates the exact same way. Not just with their look, but with their intentions.

For example, when Clint Barton (Hawkeye) first debuted in the comics, he was a villain fighting Iron Man. Then when he debuted in the MCU, he was a member of SHIELD, fighting for the "good guys".
