No, this isn't a joke. This is the real deal and God Bless her...literally. Seems as though Pamela Anderson is readying herself to be the Virgin Mary.

Let's be honest, she is anything but virginal, but I guess that is what real actor the part that is nothing like your real personality. Seems as though that is the case, as the former "Baywatch" babe is currently cast as the Virgin Mary in an upcoming Christmas special.

And yes, it is supposed to be partially comedy, but is still a bit strange, when I consider how many times I have watched Barb Wire and had to have the obligitory "Pause and Toss" moment.

As the story goes, the former Playboy playmate will portray the Virgin Mary in "A Russell Peters Christmas Special," which will air on CTV -- a Canadian TV channel -- and The Comedy Network, which will feature a mix of stand-up comedy, sketches, animation and some musical performances.

In addition to Pamela Anderson and Canadian comic Russel Peters, the special will also include guests like musician Michael Buble, actor Ted Lange and Saturday Night Live alum Jon Lovitz. Russell Peters will host the one-hour special on Dec 1.

How exciting...and for those who just want to "Pause and Toss", set the DVR. .

Oh, and if you can't're welcome
