It’s Wednesday, which mean we’ve got a new episode of ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’ for you all! In this segment, we got Ben Bruce and James Cassells from Asking Alexandria to set the record straight on what’s written about them on Wikipedia.

As always, we started off with the basics. And like we’ve seen many times before, Wikipedia got Ben Bruce’s birthplace wrong. Bruce corrects his birthplace before telling us about moving to Dubai at a young age. Wikipedia claims the move was his father’s decision due to the below par British school system, but Bruce gave us the real reason in this interview.

Bruce eventually returned to England, apparently due to his fear of being unable to become a successful musician in Dubai, but this didn’t end up being the case. Asking Alexandria actually existed in Dubai, but Bruce chose to keep the name after his move back home, and he tells us exactly why during this Wiki segment.

Both Bruce and Cassells clear up the facts surrounding the departure of vocalist Danny Worsnop in this exclusive video. Wikipedia reads the new song “I Won’t Give In” was written toward Worsnop, but the band was quick to deny the track was directly about AA’s former singer.

Check out these revelations and many others in the Asking Alexandria edition of ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’ Asking Alexandria’s new album, The Black, comes out March 25. To pre-order the album, click here.
