As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to impact Louisiana, many local residents and businesses in the Shreveport and Bossier City area have found ways to pitch in and help out. One of those local businesses is BeauxJax Crafthouse in Bossier City.

BeauxJax is preparing to launch a massive online fundraiser, with the hope of buying lunch for nurses' stations across our area. This awesome plan will be helping those who are on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19 in our medical community. Here's what BeauxJax posted to their Facebook page this week:

"HELP US FEED EVERY FLOOR OF EVERY HOSPITAL! Join us for a “Jerry Lewis” style FB Live telethon on Saturday 2p-4p. Every $150 raise will feed a nurse’s station a poboy platter, 1/2 pan of Gumbeaux, and a 1/2 pan of loaded crawfish pepperJax Mac N Cheese. You can donate now! Let’s Feed the Frontline and Support Local Business!"

You can take part in this incredible event from the comfort of your own home through Facebook. Which is perfect, since we're all on "stay at home" quarantine. So keep up that social distancing, and help out our local medical community in two ways, with BeauxJax.
