Best Places to Watch the Fireworks in Shreveport/Bossier

Wednesday, July 4th at around 9:20pm the skies between Shreveport and Bossier City will light up over the Red River with a spectacular firework show. With it being just over a week away it's time to start planning your night so that you're at the best spot for the show... Luckily there's many great locations to choose from!

1. Parking Deck Rooftops

This is my personal favorite spot to see the fireworks because it's easy to find parking and even easier to get out of after the show. The parking is free and it gives you access to many things to do before and after the fireworks if you choose... Otherwise bring food and enjoy the show from your tailgate!

2. Independence Day Festival

On the Shreveport side of the river there's a 2 part festival to choose from that includes live music, food, cold drinks and many activities for the kids! For all the details about the festival click HERE.

3. Riverside Restaurants

If you're looking to beat the heat but still watch the fireworks then one of the many restaurants along the river are your best choice. Some ideas for which restaurants include Riverview Brew House, SALT, Joes Crab Shack, Hooters and many more.

4. Rooftop Bars/Restaurants

5. Poolside

Why not beat the heat by sitting poolside with an ice cold drink while watching the show? Busted Coconut at Margaritaville or Dare at Horseshoe would make perfect spots for anyone over the age of 21!
