Life happens, we start to slip up and forget to take out pets to get their shots, sometimes we forget all about their monthly flea treatment. Unfortunately, we have already started to see several articles about how bad of a season we will have with fleas and ticks. You can prevent your animal from suffering flea and tick bites and get their vaccinations. Bossier City Animal Control and Hand in Paw volunteers are making sure that your furry family member is up to date on their shots and flea and tick meds. Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. you can take your pet to the Bossier City Animal Control Center, located at 3217 Old Shed Road. So far we know that the rabies shots for dogs and cats cost $5. You must have cash in hand to pay for your pet's services. All dogs need to be leashed and cats need to be inside of carriers. Cash is the only acceptable form of payment.
