Bossier City Man Arrested for Child Pornography
A Bossier City man is now behind bars for possession of child pornography after an investigation in New York led to his arrest.
Detectives with the Bossier City Police Department’s Juvenile Unit arrested 26-year-old Alexander James Louria on Monday for possession of pornography involving juveniles. Detectives secured a search warrant at Louria's residence in the 5800 block of Bluebonnet Drive after being contacted by law enforcement officials in Oswego County, New York who had linked Louria to receiving child pornography via the Internet from within their jurisdiction.
Upon executing the warrant, detectives seized computers from Louria’s home which contained numerous files of suspected child pornography. The investigation remains ongoing with the assistance of the Bossier City Marshal’s Office and the Northwest Louisiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Louria was booked into the Bossier City Jail and later transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility.
