Bossier Father and Son Arrested for Sex Crimes Involving Juveniles
Detectives with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office have arrested a man on three felony sexual abuse charges involving juveniles as well as the man's son for possessing multiple pornographic child sexual abuse images.
On Friday, March 11, detectives were investigating Lester D. Cheveallier, 64, of Bossier City, for his use of a social media account to solicit a juvenile victim. He was arrested and charged with one count of obscenity, one count of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles, and one count of Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor.
Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant for Cheveallier’s residence to continue their investigation. There, they searched a computer and found thirty pornographic child sexual abuse images of children under the age of 13. That computer was owned by Cheveallier’s son, Clayton D. Hinton, 41, who also lives at the home. Detectives arrested Hinton and charged him with thirty counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles.
Both men were booked into the Bossier Max-Security Facility. For his crimes, Cheveallier bond is set at $85,000, while Hinton’s bond is set at $150,000.
