Barksdale Airman Found Guilty in Death of Another Airman
A jury in an Air Force court marshall trial has found a Barksdale airman guilty in the death of another airman.
Airman 1st Class Isaiah Edwards was on trial in the stabbing death of his roommate, Airman 1st Class Bradley Hale while the two were stationed in Guam. Edwards admitted to killing Hale, but he has maintained he was acting in self-defense. The seven-member jury returned the guilty verdict on Thursday morning.
The jury is now considering what sentence should be handed down in this case.
