Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Seeking Keithville Car Thief
Arrest warrants were issued for two Keithville men for possessing vehicles stolen from a local storage yard in the 7400 block of West Bert Kouns, according to Caddo Sheriff’s investigators.
Nathan Martin, 20, and Derick Ferguson II, 23, both of Keithville, LA, are accused of possessing a stolen gray 2023 Chevy Camaro SS and a gray 2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack 392. In addition, Martin is accused of possessing a blue 2019 Dodge Charger stolen in Halton City, TX.
Just before 1 a.m. on November 21, a group of people broke into the storage yard and used a truck from the yard to ram open an exit gate and stole four cars. Around 3:40 p.m., Caddo Sheriff’s detectives responded to an apartment complex in the 5400 block of Financial Plaza where the gray Camaro was recovered. Just after 4 p.m. on November 23, Caddo Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a home in the 6000 block of Alvin York Lane where the gray Charger was recovered. An investigation revealed the Charger stolen in Texas was at the same residence. It also showed Martin and Ferguson II were in possession of the vehicles and were having them wrapped in a different color, according to Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Justin Sundquist. Within the first week of December, the 2019 blue Charger was recovered around Mansfield Rd. and Colquitt Rd. in Shreveport.
On Saturday, January 28, Nathan Martin, 21, was arrested for outstanding warrants through the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office for (3) counts of illegal possession of stolen things. He was transferred and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center that night.
Derick Ferguson II remains at large with outstanding warrants through the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office for (2) counts of illegal possession of stolen things.

Sundquist obtained arrest warrants in Caddo Parish for Martin for (3) counts of illegal possession of stolen things and Ferguson II for (2) counts of illegal possession of stolen things. The investigation will continue, and others are being sought for their involvement of possessing stolen vehicles.
