City Golf Courses Ready and Reopen for Play

They opened to little fanfare and there are a number of special rules, but Shreveport's Querbes and Huntington golf courses are back in business, with golfers flocking to the facilities this weekend.

For the time being the courses are closing early (5pm), tee times are being scheduled farther apart and cups (with flags) are raised above ground level on the greens. But for area golfers who had been denied their favorite past time for nearly six weeks, those are minor inconveniences.
