Despite Shreveport-Bossier losing comedy clubs, could comedy in Shreveport-Bossier be making a comeback?

We just had Gabriel Iglesias aka "Fluffy" come to Bossier in October and it was a hit. So many people in the Ark-La-Tex flocked to the Brookshire Grocery Arena to see him perform live and then raving reviews followed.

Could Fluffy's latest gig at Brookshire's Grocery Arena be the start of something great in Shreveport-Bossier?

Everyone's favorite Pimp Chronicle's storyteller Katt Williams announced that he’s bringing “World War III” to Bossier. The Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City will be full of people eager for laughs and an overall good time.

“World War III” the comedy tour will take over Bossier on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 8:00 pm.

If you have access to the pre-sale you can get in on it Wednesday, November 10th starting at 12:00 p.m. the pre-sale ends on November 11th at 10:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, November 12th at 10:00 a.m.

You have a couple of options when it comes to buying tickets, either online at Ticketmaster or at Brookshire's Grocery Arena box office.

So far the Ticketmaster website has not listed prices for the comedy show.

Katt Williams was just recently all over the news because he paused his comedy show on Saturday night. Williams was performing at the KFC Yum! According to TMZ, he noticed that a fan had passed out in the audience and he didn't want to move forward until the person was treated,. This of course made headlines because Katt Williams was quick to bring up the tragedy in Houston at the Astroworld music festival.
