This weekend we will see a lot of people out and about enjoying the company of their significant others. Love is in the air and because the famous day of love is upon us you will notice a lot more couples out celebrating their love. We aren't mad at it.

I have always made jokes towards my partner about sitting next to each other at booths and being that obnoxious couple. Could it be that the couple I have coined as "obnoxious" is actually more in love than I am?

Several couples came to defend their choice of sitting next to each other. Although it looks awkward to us one user said that they hate that booths are so big and it feels like you're yelling across the table. Another user claimed that it feels more intimate sitting next to each other and it's better for people watching. Clearly, that person doesn't notice everyone else watching them.

Personally, I want to see who I am with. I want to stare deep into their eyes. Okay, maybe that sounded way too intense. However, if I wanted to cuddle up next to someone I would do it at home with a movie on. A Redditt user claims that if you don't sit across from your person you don't get to take it all in. From their facial expressions when they try their meal to you playing footsies with them.
