Everyone reading this can agree that running red lights is a dangerous affair. Yet, most of us are guilty of doing it from time to time.

We, as a nation, have to stop doing this. No matter what, no matter how yellow the light is when you get to it, no matter how quickly we need to get where we’re going, we have to stop.

Across the nation, deaths due to running red lights has unfortunately hit a decade-high.

939 deaths across the nation were recorded directly due to running red lights. Here in Louisiana, we are not immune to these tragic results.

In our state, we see generally around ten deaths due to running red lights at intersections. I hope one day we can write an article highlighting no deaths in our state due to this careless driving.
