DeSoto Parish Sheriff Says Murder Suspect Now in Custody
After a multi-agency manhunt, the DeSoto Parish Sheriff, Jayson Richardson, says a man wanted for murdering his twin brother is in custody.
Sheriff Richardson released a statement through his office this afternoon that read:
"Sheriff Jayson Richardson would like to inform the public that the suspect, Treavor M. Williams, was located and apprehended at the Royal Inn Hotel on North Market Street in Shreveport, LA at 1:15 p.m. today. The suspect is currently being held at the Caddo Correctional Center and will be transported to the DeSoto Detention Center at a later time. The arrest was made in a joint effort between the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office, Tri-Parish Task Force, U.S. Marshals, F.B.I, and Shreveport Police Department. This is still an ongoing investigation and further details may be provided at a later time."
