East Texas Off-Road Park Closes for Good
Mud covered harts are breaking across East Texas today, as the news about the closing of one of the most beloved off-road parks spreads through Facebook and local news sources like CBS 19 in Tyler. Mud Creek Off-Road Park in Jacksonville, Texas announced that it would be closing it's doors permanently via their Facebook page last night.
Mud-Creek's closing is effective immediately, and very few details that would explain why the off-road park is shutting down are available at this time. The park has played host to lots of events, concerts, and year after year of pure mud-slingin', trail rippin' fun! One of most famous was the High-Lifter Mud Nationals, which Mud-Creek hosted every year since 2005!
If you had reservations to mud it up at the park, you'll need to contact the owners through Facebook to work out the refund on any deposits. The High-lifter Mud Nationals will continue at different off-road park, but the new location has not yet been named.
