Everyone in Longview, TX Needs to Know About Dave at Home Depot
Have You Ever Failed Horribly at Lawncare?
I have. Let me tell you it ends up costing you a whole lot of money fixing your mistakes.
There I was frustrated in the middle of the garden center at Home Depot in Longview, Texas when a voice behind me said “how can I help you today young lady?” There he stood, an older gentleman who had all kinds of patches on his orange apron.
Just like a decorated vet, this man had patches showing he was an expert with everything gardening. One of his patches said “Gardening Master” so I looked him up and down and said “I don’t know if you can help us at this point.” He laughed and said, “well tell me what we are dealing with”.
I was beyond frustrated and it was hot and all I could think was “how is this man so chipper right now?” I explained to Dave how my lawn had been fertilized and I had put some weed and feed on it and instead of the weeds going away my yard was full of weeds. He said, “go to the beginning tell me everything you’ve done up to this point.” Mr.Dave sat there and listened to me vent and explain how bad my lawn situation was.
Mr.Dave Listened and You Could Tell He Was Taking Notes in His Head.
He pointed out where we went wrong and completely changed what we had been told about lawn care. I wish everyone had Mr.Dave's customer service skills. If more people had his kindness and eagerness to help I know we'd all be happier customers. No Mr.Dave didn't sell us some expensive products, he instead showed us alternatives and easier ways to make our lawn look good.
