First Baptist Bossier or "First Bossier" is calling out all area anglers for their team bass tournament on Caddo Lake, this Saturday, August 21.

Calling it a day of "Fishing, Family Time, and Fellowship", the church is hosting this tournament and though it's a "team" event, rules do permit some anglers to fish alone.

Entry fee is $100 per team with $10 of that going to the Big Bass Pot which will pay one place.

With $2,000 for the first place finishers, this one could prove to be extremely profitable for competitors.

Additional places will be paid as follows:
2nd place - $1000
3rd place - $500
4th place - $100

Teams can register in advance at firstbossier.com, however late entries will be accepted at Earl G. Williamson Park in Oil City.  This will be near the truck/ trailer parking lot. The pavilion area is closed for several months so the public will not be allowed in that section of the facility.  This will also be the site of the weigh in.

Though this is a trailer tournament, allowing you to launch anywhere, you may NOT launch or fish above the Highway 43 bridge.

This is a 3-fish tournament and competitors MUST cull on their 4th fish and adhere to all slot restrictions.

First cast will be Saturday morning at 6:15 am; lines out by 1:30 pm and must be present in the weigh in line at Earl G. Williamson Park by 2:00 pm.
