Flash Flood Watch in Effect for Shreveport Bossier

More rain is in store all day today and that has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flash flood watch for most of northwest Louisiana, northeast Texas and southwest Arkansas.

This flash flood watch is in effect through 6 p.m. Wednesday night.

Our area could see as much as 6 inches of rain over the next 2 days.

Expect rainfall amounts to range from 3 to 6+ inches across the watch area through Wednesday. Flash flooding will be possible through Wednesday.

You are urged to avoid flooded areas. Do not try to drive through high water.
