Band Writes Album of Songs with YouTube Comments As Lyrics [Video]

You might not be familiar with the Dublin, Ireland, band The Decemberists.

However, we are pretty sure that after you watch its latest video, you will be a fan -- or you will at least have a lot of respect for the band's talent.

It's a well-known fact that YouTube comments are pretty much the worst. It seems like the reason most people comment at all is simply to troll other commenters.

So, The Decemberists decided to take those useless comments and turn them into something useful: music.

The band recorded an entire album of songs where the lyrics are all YouTube comments.

The band performed some of the songs last week on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
