Bossier Parish authorities are on the lookout for a woman wanted in Missouri for theft. She is believed to be in the Bossier area.

Lt. Bill Davis, Public Information Officer for the Bossier Parish Sheriff's office, issued a statement with a photo of the woman asking for residents help in locating her.

At the request of Missouri authorities, Bossier City Police and Bossier Crime Stoppers are asking area residents for help in locating a suspect wanted on multiple state and federal charges including theft and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

64-year old Barbara A. Wilson of Jasper County, Missouri is wanted by authorities there for stealing more than $400,000 from her former employer. The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office tells Bossier City Police that they have information indicating Wilson has recently been visiting casinos in Bossier City and Shreveport and may still be in our area.

Anyone who may have seen Wilson or knows of her whereabouts is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at (318) 424-4100. They can also submit a web tip via the Bossier Crime Stoppers website www.bossiercrimestoppers.org. Persons who contact Bossier Crime Stoppers are reminded they may remain totally anonymous.
