UPDATE: Missing Greenwood Teen Is Found Safe

The juvenile was located at a Shreveport Apartment complex by Lt. Steele of the Greenwood Police Department at approximately 2:45 pm this afternoon. He is safe. McLaughlin, essentially, ran away from home. Thanks to everyone that called, shared the social media posts, and helped us locate Andrew McLaughlin.

Greenwood police are asking for the public's help to find a missing teenager.

On Sunday, May 23rd, Greenwood officers found  an abandoned car in a ditch along Hwy 169 (the Greenwood-Mooringsport Road) near I-20.

Officers got in touch with the registered owner of the car who told them 17-year-old Andrew McLaughlin typically drives that car.

Andrew McLaughlin has been entered into NCIC, so please contact Greenwood Police Department or your local law enforcement agency if you know his whereabouts.
