Most bands lose a member from a tour because of rehab, but Slayer is MUCH to hard core for that.  Jeff Henneman, the current guitarest for Slayer, will not tour with the band due to contracting necrotizing fasciitis a.k.a. The Flesh Eating Bacteria from a spider bite.

Slayer will continue to tour, so there will be a Big Four show in Indio, California in April.  The question is WHO will be bad ass enough to take his place? It hopefully won't be perminant, as people can recover from The Flesh Eating Bactieria.

Necrotizing Fasciitis is a rare infection in which a bacterial virus attacks skin, fat and body tissue. If you really want to lose your lunch click here for some graphic photos of the bactiera.

I really can't think of a better fitting disease for a band member from Slayer to be suffering from.  Don't get me wrong!  It's not like I want anyone to get a disease, except maybe my ex, but this is a perfect match for a guy that has shredded songs like "Piece By Piece", "Dead Skin Mask", "Bloodline", and "Flesh Storm".
