Help Cancer Patients by Donating to the Holiday Hat Drive

For the last 14 years, the Business Improvement Manager at Holmes Honda has been collecting hats.  Not like your uncle collection of the finest feed-store hats, Tina Oliver collects head coverings of all types to help cancer patients.

Years ago, Tina successfully battled breast cancer.  She beat the disease, but unfortunately lost her hair.  That's when a kind-hearted health-care worker gave her a hat.  Not just to keep her head warm, but to help her confidence as well.  Tina was so inspired by the concept that she launched a donation drive to provide hats for every cancer patient who has lost their hair from the effects of chemotherapy.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Holiday Hat Drive, and once again the search for fashionable and warm chapeaus is on!  Grab new, soft and warm hats and drop them off at any of the Holmes Auto Family dealerships in Shreveport or Holmes Honda in Bossier City.  The donations will be accepted until the week of Christmas, and will be distributed to patients at Willis Knighton Cancer Center, Schumpert, and the local St. Jude hospital.
