Here’s A Tip–Facebook is PUBLIC!
The 3 Stooges are no longer named Curly, Moe, and Larry; they're Rhett, Kyle, and Dodie.
Allegedly, these three rocket scientists from Jennings, LA, thought it would just be a hoot to go down to the bayou and poach some alligators from the back of a pickup. I can just hear the conversation: "Dude--ya know what'd be fun? Let's go git drunk and kill us a passel of gators. We don't even have to git out of the truck; we'll jes shoot 'em right there. Heck, we might even find us some of dem big bull frogs, and we don't even have ta gig 'em. Just, BLAM! Instant frog legs for dinner."
It would have been bad enough if the stupidity had ended there, but, oh no. "You know what else? We can video it and put it up on Facebook. Won't that be badass?!"
More like dumbass. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) arrested 24-year-old Rhett Guidry, 19-year-old Dodie Bouley, and 23-year-old Kyle Thibodaux and cited them for illegally hunting alligators and frogs, among other things. The LDWF was tipped off by someone who saw the video of the incident on one of the brain surgeons' Facebook page.
According to the Louisiana Radio Network, if convicted each are facing up to $2,500 in fines, as well as a $751 restitution fee for the replacement value of the alligators. They're also looking at jail time--120 days for taking the alligators and up to 90 days in jail for shooting from the truck off a public road.
Like I always say, "You can't fix stupid."
