Due to possible peanut residue, Hostess Brands has recalled select snack cakes and donuts.

As a direct recall from their flour supplier, Hostess is voluntarily recalling over 700,000 snack products including Ding Dongs, Zingers and Powdered Donuts, to name a few. Due to possible peanut residue from certain flour lots, the flour supplier has issued the recall out of caution.

Hostess has already been made aware of two allergic reactions caused by peanut allergens and want to avoid any further reactions.
