How High Will the Water on Cross Lake Get?

Residents around Cross Lake are worried as more rain moves through our community and the lake continues to rise.

The level on the lake is at 172.4 feet and is expected to crest later this week at 173.5 feet. This is well below the crest last month of just under 177 feet, but it still has area residents nervous.

We caught up with Shreveport Water and Sewer Director Barbara Featherston to talk about the flooding concerns.
