If you have business at the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles in Shreveport, take note. The office is closed temporarily because of the impacts of COVID-19.

State officials encourage motorists to use online services, public tag agents or the LA Wallet app to conduct OMV business.

Due to precautions related to COVID-19, the following OMV locations are temporarily closed:

  • Crowley (Reopening Wednesday, December 29)
  • Chalmette
  • Franklinton
  • Gonzales
  • Jennings
  • Lafayette (Reopening Wednesday, December 29, for appointments only)
  • Livingston
  • Mandeville
  • Monroe
  • New Orleans (Veterans Blvd.)
  • Shreveport
  • Westwego
  • Winnsboro

You can find details on when the Shreveport office will reopen at www.expresslane.org/alerts. The site also says the Bossier Office is also temporarily closed. No information about a reopening date is listed.

Once the offices are back open, you are reminded masks are required at all OMV offices, regardless of your vax status.
