Louisiana’s First Hot Sauce Fest Coming to Sulphur This Weekend

SULPHUR, LOUISIANA - If you like spicy foods, or are even just a hot sauce lover, then we have just the thing coming up for you this weekend. Louisiana's FIRST Hot Sauce Fest will be in Sulphur this Saturday.

The festival will feature hot sauce makers, salsa brands, spicy food trucks, and vendors from across the region. Guests will have the chance to taste different sauces, shop for unique products, and enjoy plenty of food and entertainment throughout the day.

Saturday will be packed with competitions and activities, including the League of Fire Pepper Eating Contest, where competitors will test their heat tolerance. There will also be a Hot Sauce Chugging Challenge and the People’s Choice Award, where attendees can vote for their favorite hot sauce.

Have kids that like a little spice? They will get to join in on the fun too with the Kids Gummy Worm Challenge, making the festival a family-friendly event for all ages.

The first-ever SWLA’s Hot Sauce Fest is coming to the West Cal Arena & Events Center in Sulphur on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
