
Arkansas School Director Sentenced for “Child Fight Club” Role
A Jonesboro school director accused of being the “ringleader of a makeshift child fight club” has pleaded guilty to one count of permitting child abuse and four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Mary Tracy Morrison was sentenced to 60 months of probation on the child abuse charge and 12 months of probation on each of the other charges. She was also ordered to serve 30 days in the Craighead County Detention Center, followed by 120 days of house arrest with electronic monitoring.
Investigation Began After The Parent Reported the Alleged Abuse in Arkansas
The investigation began in April of 2025 after a parent reported alleged abuse involving a 13-year-old student at the ENGAGE School and The Delta Institute for Developing the Brain.

According to K8 News, video evidence showed the student surrounded by 18 other juveniles while being physically and verbally mistreated during a 30-minute incident. Authorities said Morrison directed students during the incident and encouraged some of the actions.
Three other school employees were also arrested in connection with the case.
Restrictions Ordered on Morrison After Sentencing in Arkansas
Morrison is prohibited from ever working with children in any professional capacity and must surrender her occupational therapy and related licenses. She was also ordered to complete a mental health assessment and have no contact with the victim.
