Rats and mice can be anywhere but when a town is considered to be 'infested' with them... that is never a good thing.

Recently Terminix published a report on the most rodent-infested towns in the United States. Two towns in Arkansas and four in Texas made the list.

First of all, how do you know if you have a rodent problem? What are the signs? You don't have to see a rodent to know you have a problem. According to Terminix these are the things you need to look for:

1. Look for small droppings inside your home. Look in the back of drawers and cabinets. Also, check on the floor along the walls.

2. Does it look like something has been gnawing on your food packages and boxes?

3. Wires or floor molding that look chewed up.

5. Do you see footprints and a tail-drag in any dusty area?

6. Have you found something that looks like a nest from paper or insulation?

7. Do you hear something scratching, running or thumping in a wall?

A yes to any of these questions and you might want to look into a rodent service fast.
