With the rising cost of groceries, more shoppers and consumers are looking for alternative ways to cut their grocery budget many people are now opting to buy the store's brand over the name brands. I mean, if you're raising a big family it doesn't take long before the grocery bill adds up, and for the hard-working man or woman that can devastate the family budget quickly.

Better Goods Brand

Good news! Walmart just unveiled a new private label "Better Goods" that caters to a younger generation the Gen Z shopper. Walmart has always been known for affordable prices but now with the "Better Goods" brand, they will offer a better selection of plant-based gluten-free products along with quality culinary chef-inspired gourmet foods.

The Better Goods private label brand is the first of its kind in more than 20 years at Walmart some of the items will include oat-milk frozen desserts, plant-based macaroni and cheese, and frozen appetizers like chicken curry empanadas and Brie Phyllo Blossoms which are a whole lot healthier options. More than 70 percent of the products will sell for less than $5 and Walmart says they will have 300+ products to pick from and many start at $2 up to $15.

Generation Z or Gen-Zers as they are called is one of the fastest-growing demographics and these particular shoppers are looking for value and more choices for their dollars. Some of the private-label products are in the store and most stores will have the products by the end of the year. According to company officials, the Better Goods products can also be purchased online.
