The Epic Shreveport Major League Fishing Event Hits TV Tomorrow
You might recall that this past fall, Major League Fishing (MLF) came to the Shreveport-Bossier area for the fourth and final event of the 2025 Fishing Clash Team Series presented by Bass Pro Shops season.

The Bass Pro Shops Summit Cup, was held on several lakes in the immediate Shreveport/Bossier area from Sunday, November 16, through Friday, November 21.
One of our own, MLF Pro Nick Lebrun, from Benton, was one of the competitors in this two-man team competition, and during one of the competition days, he and co-angler Todd Faircloth, of Jasper, Texas absolutely smashed the fish on Cypress Lake in the single most dominant period in Fishing Clash Team Series history as they boated a staggering 91 pounds and 13 ounces on 55 scorable bass in Period 1 alone. The two went on to win the day with 77 scorable bass weighing 139 pounds and 15 ounces.

For those not familiar with the format of the MLF Fishing Clash Team Series, competition waters for each day of competition were top-secret and only revealed to the anglers when they arrived at the boat ramp each morning. Anglers were driven directly to the day’s competition area launch ramp by their officials.
The Summit Cup featured 12 two-man teams divided into three groups as they entered the one-day Elimination Round matches. These teams of Bass Pro Tour anglers were competing for a share of $560,000 in prize money. Teams were formed through a selection process, where 48 team captains – based on Fishing Clash Angler of the Year (AOY) standings throughout the Bass Pro Tour season – selected a teammate. Teams competed throughout the fall of 2025.
