Guy Kicked Off Plane Headed To Austin, Texas For Farting
An American Airlines flight was grounded and a man was kicked off the plane for excessively farting to annoy the other passengers.
The greatest comment on this that we could find online is that the jet had experienced "unexpected flatulence."
A bizarre account about something that allegedly occurred aboard an American Airlines aircraft from Phoenix to Austin last week was posted on Reddit.
The person saw a "disgruntled" passenger who appeared to be "maybe hung over" while the plane was still at the gate. The guy had just gotten on board when he started to argue with another passenger.
Then suddenly, the guy said, "You thought that was rude? Well, how about this?" and loudly farted.
Since the individual who blogged about it called him "Fartman," we'll roll with it too: He then claimed that Fartman became agitated by the smell of food that a different passenger had brought on board.
When someone told him to stop being so rude, Fartman referred to them as "low class." In response, they said, "Well, you're back here in economy with the rest of us."
A flight attendant intervened at that moment, saying, "That's enough." And all appeared to be over when the jet began to taxi.
However, the jet came to an abrupt stop a few minutes later. The pilot then turned on the speaker, announced that they were returning to the gate, and had Fartman removed from the plane.
Luckily, he didn't cause any more trouble after he left. The guy on Reddit claimed that the airline personnel handled it well and that everyone was relieved that Fartman wouldn't be traveling on the plane. It ended up only being a 30 minute delay.
