
Louisiana Teacher Charged With Child Sex Trafficking
(KHLA - New Orleans, Louisiana) - A Louisiana teacher is being charged with multiple felony charges tied to the sexual exploitation of minors.
Joshua Kagler, 38, was taken into custody by the New Orleans Police Department and NOPD's Special Victims Division Child Abuse Cold Case Unit on Tuesday, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Task Force, as the suspected perpetrator of many juvenile offenses.

According to the police, Kagler had previously taught at a number of schools in the New Orleans area, including Warren Easton High School, McDonough 35, and George Washington Carver.
Any possible victims are being urged to come forward by NOPD. While acknowledging that reporting can be challenging, police emphasized that victims' safety and privacy come first.

Kagler is charged with these felonies:
- 5 counts of trafficking of children for sexual purposes
- 5 counts of indecent behavior with juveniles
- 1 count of third-degree rape
- 1 count of sexual battery
