It seems to take about 8 or 9 years for someone who potentially spent some time in a Texas jail cell to forget all about that experience and fall back into old habits. According to KTRE on March 24, 2016 Jeffrey Dale Chamberlain was arrested to great fanfare.

His apprehension was splashed across TV sets in Deep East Texas. Nacogdoches County Precinct 4 Constable David Stone's office arrested him that day.

Revolving Doors Of The Same Crimes In Nacogdoches

Chamberlain was the 4th arrest in an undercover investigation by Constable Stone. The four-month-long undercover operation landed Chamberland in jail with a third-degree possession charge and a state jail felony delivery of a controlled substance.

Deputies served Chambers with the warrant during a traffic stop on Highway 7 east of Nacogdoches. During a search of his vehicle they found 3.3 grams of meth, syringes, pipes, baggies, and scales.

Kenneth Folsom, Marcus Murphy, and Wendy Cline were arrested in the same operation. There were more arrests at the time, and almost 10 years later, not much has changed.

David Stone is still the Nacogdoches County Constable, and Jeffrey Chamberlain is back behind bars. Now with a new evading arrest charge and a $50,000 bond.
