Hard to Believe This Reckless Texas Driver Didn’t Cause a Wreck

A driver in the Dallas-Fort Worth area had the bright idea of cutting across multiple lanes to take an exit. 

Not to brag, but I’m typically pretty patient when I’m behind the wheel. As the old saying goes, it’s better to arrive late than never. 

But man, there are a lot of people on the road who obviously don’t see it the way I do.

I remember a car commercial from several years ago that claimed the road isn’t a smart place. I loved the ad because it hit the nail on the head. It’s mind-boggling how dumb people can be while driving. 

And driving recklessly has to be the dumb thing I see people doing the most. 

Rarely am I on the highway when I don’t see someone going 20 miles per hour over the speed limit and weaving their way in and out of traffic. All I can think is that if they don’t care about their own safety, the least they can do is think about the safety of others. 

The video below is the perfect example of someone putting themself and others at risk rather than taking the next exit and backtracking.
