Another Felon With a Firearm Arrested by Shreveport Police

On June 1, 2023, around 8:17 a.m. Shreveport Police Patrol Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 5200 block of Monkhouse Drive. Officers contacted Kacy Wilson (1-25-94) inside the vehicle and found he was in possession of a firearm.
Further investigation into the matter revealed that Wilson was prohibited from possessing a firearm due to being a convicted felon for prior felony offenses.
Wilson was arrested on one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He was also found to have outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions. The firearm was seized as evidence.
We are required to advise that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
