Texas Man Arrested After Kidnapping in Shreveport

At approximately 8:55 AM on April 4th, officers from the Shreveport Police Department responded to a kidnapping incident in the 2400 block of Lakeshore Drive. Dispatchers remained in communication with the victim, who reported being forcefully abducted by an armed individual and forced into a vehicle.

With swift and coordinated efforts, officers were able to locate the suspect's vehicle and initiated a pursuit. The pursuit extended into East Texas before the vehicle eventually came to a stop and the suspect surrendered to authorities.

We are pleased to report that the female passenger involved in the incident emerged uninjured. The suspect has been identified as Nathaniel Roberson of Texas.

Nathaniel Roberson is now facing multiple charges, including second-degree kidnapping, simple battery, aggravated flight, aggravated obstruction of a highway, obstruction of justice, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, he will face further charges in Texas.
