Caddo Correctional Center Booking Photos December 7th-13th

This week 53 people were booked and kept at Caddo Correctional Center.

Among those booked was a young man arrested following a recent drive-by shooting.

December 12, 2024: The Shreveport Police Department and its Violent Crimes Abatement Team (VCAT) have successfully resolved a drive-by shooting incident through comprehensive and diligent investigative efforts. The incident occurred on November 17, 2024, at 6479 Oak Valley Drive in Shreveport, Louisiana.

On December 3, 2024, at approximately 2:00 PM, VCAT members arrested two individuals in connection with the shooting. Labryce Davis (DOB: 03/29/2006) and Brandon Daniels (DOB: 10/16/2007) were taken into custody and charged with Assault by Drive-By Shooting. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported during the incident.

The investigation advanced further on December 12, 2024, when the Greenwood Police Department, in collaboration with VCAT members, executed an arrest warrant for Mathais Manning (DOB: 06/27/2006) at 7468 Golden Meadow in Greenwood, Louisiana. Manning attempted to flee but was swiftly apprehended. In addition to being charged with Assault by Drive-By Shooting, Manning faces an additional charge for Handling and Possession of a Machine Gun. He was transported to the Caddo Correctional Center for processing.

Chief Wayne Smith commended the collaborative effort between multiple law enforcement agencies, stating, “This case highlights the importance of teamwork and dedication in ensuring justice and maintaining the safety of our community. The swift and thorough actions of our officers and partnering agencies reflect our commitment to combating violent crime.”
