Shreveport Police Hunt for Suspects After Back-to-Back Thefts at Local Business

The Shreveport Police Department Property Crimes Unit is turning to the community for help identifying multiple suspects involved in a pair of brazen, daytime thefts. Both incidents targeted the same business in the 4600 block of Mansfield Road within a 30-minute window on April 15, 2026.

Midday Cigarette Heist Marks First Incident

The first theft occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. according to investigators. A Black male suspect walked into the establishment, slipped behind the sales counter, and snatched roughly $800 worth of Kool and Newport cigarettes.

After grabbing the merchandise, the suspect fled the scene. Witnesses reported seeing him leave the area in a tan, four-door sedan.

Second Wave of Thieves Targets Everyday Goods Minutes Later

Just 30 minutes later, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the same business was targeted again. This time, a trio consisting of two Black males and one Black female entered the store.

The group gathered about $900 worth of items, including:

• Men’s and women’s clothing packs
• Dove body wash products
• Assorted tissue products

The suspects stuffed the merchandise into two large laundry totes and ran out of the store without paying. They were last seen speeding away in a dark-colored, four-door sedan. It is currently unclear if the two incidents are directly connected.
