For the first time, a pharmaceutical company has admitted to rare side effects from their COVID-19 vaccine as AstraZeneca filed the revelation in court. The drug making giant is being sued in a class action lawsuit which claims their vaccine led to serious injuries, and deaths, in dozens of cases. This sudden change from the drug maker is being seen as a watershed moment in the controversies surrounding the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines.

The first case brought against AstraZeneca came from Jamie Scott, who suffered a permanent brain injury after taking the vaccine. Scott developed blood clots and a bleed on the brain after getting the vaccine in April of 2021. His family had been told multiple times during the ordeal that he would not survive.

After more than 50 cases have been filed against them, the company has now admitted in court documents that their vaccine can cause TTS, or Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome. TTS causes victims to develop blood clots and low blood platelet counts, which can lead to various dangerous and deadly outcomes.

Initially, AstraZeneca released a written response in May of 2023 that told Mr. Scott:

“we do not accept that TTS is caused by the vaccine at a generic level”

But now the drug maker has told the courts that they are aware the vaccine can cause TTS. An admission that could possibly lead to high value payouts to victims.

This isn't the first issue with COVID-19 vaccines. In early 2021, shortly after the full scale release of COVID-19 vaccines started, scientists has already identified side effects. They dubbed them Vaccine-induced Immune Thrombocytopenia and Thrombosis, or VITT.

After months of controversy and battle, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now even admits that COVID-19 vaccines can cause heart issues. Information that has been validated by numerous pieces of research, from places like Yale.

These are all topics that caused users to get suspended, blocked, and banned from social media platforms over the last 4 years. Users large and small lost accounts over questions and statements that have since been validated by the research from Yale, the CDC, and what has now been filed in court documents by the drug makers themselves.
