
Mother and Daughter Arrested for Disturbance at Shreveport High School
A CPSO School Resource Officer, responded to a disturbance at Booker T. Washington High School.
The incident involved a parent and two students, one of whom was her daughter.
According to investigators, 40 year-old Jennifer Farmer was at the school to pick up her daughter, 17 year-old Kentavia Farmer, when a loud argument broke out as they were leaving the campus. During the argument, Kentavia became involved in a physical fight with another student.
According to investigators, surveillance footage from the school showed Jennifer Farmer assaulting the other student as well.
Deputy Daniels attempted to stop the fighting and detain the students and parent. Following their investigation, Jennifer Farmer was arrested and charged with:
- Dist peace-engaging in a fistic encounter
- Resisting an Officer
- Unlawful disruption of the operation of a school
Kentavia Farmer was also arrested and charged with:
- Dist peace-engaging in a fistic encounter
- Unlawful Disruption of the Operation of a School
- Enter/remain in places/on land after being forbidden
- In-state fugitive
Both Jennifer Farmer and Kentavia Farmer were taken to the Caddo Correctional Center, where they were booked on those charges.
The investigation is still ongoing.
