Horseshoe Casino Hosts Southern Poker Monster Stack Series
Over the past couple of weeks, I've been playing more poker. This past weekend, I played in Dallas and made one final table (finished 9th) and finished 18th in another tournament out of about 180 players. I didn't win any money, but had a blast.
And now I can stay home and take part in a big poker tournament event right here in our community.
Horseshoe Casino is hosting the Southern Poker Monster Stack Series this week. There are 8 tournaments happening this week for lots of folks including Rookies, Ladies, Seniors, PLO and others. The prices for entering these tournaments range from $150 to $600.
Local poker players will have plenty of opportunities to compete for some cash. This is a pretty big deal and I am very excited.
Poker Tournament in Bossier City
Horseshoe Bossier City will be the center of the poker action as players from Louisiana and beyond make their way to Bossier City.
The series runs through October 25.
You can also try your luck at one of the satellite tournaments rather than jumping right into the biggest tournament. There are different events and buy-in levels that can give players multiple ways to get into the action.
Anyone Can Play in This Tournament
If you have the entry fee, you can play. In fact, I'll be playing in this Bossier City poker tournament, and I'm going into it with two goals: have a little fun and, hopefully, make a little money.
I love the thrill and my goal is to get a little better at each event.
And if things go really well, maybe I'll have a little extra cash in my pocket when I leave.
