1. Protect your Social Security number.

You should not carry your Social Security card in your wallet.

If your health insurance carrier uses your Social Security number, ask them for a new number.

You should be very careful with your passwords. Use different passwords for all of your accounts.

Be sure to protect your personal info on your phone and computers. Be extra careful what you click on.
