There's just something about the food in the Bayou State. We a lot of attention for our Cajun delicacies from the gumbo and jambalaya to our crawfish and shrimp. But there is so much more to love.

Our food is such a draw that Louisiana has landed on USA Today's list of top food festivals in the United States.

 Ten Best City Food Festivals In America

USA Today routinely gathers experts from around the nation to compile a list of the cities with the best food festivals, which is presented to the world for a vote. After compiling the votes for its 10 Best lists, Louisiana has one of the spots on this prestigious list.

The French Quarter Festival in New Orleans is ranked the 5th Best In The United States.

This four day festival is held in April in New Orleans and features some of the best chefs Louisiana has to offer.

You will find several tasty treats on the menu, including:

Soft Shell Crab Po-Boy
Jollof Rice - The Original Jambalaya
World's Best Meat Pie (Beef or Veggie)
Crawfish Roll with Homemade Potato Chips

The FQF features more than 20 stages all around the French Quarter celebrating local music of all kinds.

People from all over the world travel to New Orleans to take part is this amazing event.

You will also find a wide variety of locally brewed beers at the festival.
