In the early hours of May 20, Shreveport Police successfully apprehended 26-year-old Sirleonard Abrams following a dramatic pursuit resulting in multiple charges.

Officers initiated a routine traffic stop, but Abrams refused to comply, beginning a chase that traversed the city streets. The pursuit concluded near the intersection of Hollywood and Kennedy after Abrams collided with multiple objects in his desperate attempt to evade capture.

As a consequence of his actions, Abrams now faces a litany of charges, including felony hit and run, aggravated flight from an officer, and possession of a scheduled narcotic.
