Shreveport Woman Arrested After Hitting Woman With Her Vehicle

On July 29th at approximately 3:45 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to the 900 block of Whispering Lake Drive regarding what was initially reported as a hit-and-run accident. Upon further investigation, it was determined that 23-year-old Janai Blow had intentionally struck a woman with her vehicle, causing injuries.

Blow also reportedly attempted to strike other individuals at the location, as well as multiple vehicles, before fleeing the scene. With the assistance of the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, Blow was apprehended and taken into custody.

Janai Blow has been charged with the following offenses:

- Three counts of aggravated assault

- One count of aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon

- One count of aggravated criminal property damage

- One count of hit-and-run
