On September 2nd, 2023, around 1:39 a.m. officers with the Shreveport Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle that reportedly committed a hit-and-run in a parking lot at Spring Street and Travis Street.

Officers located the suspect vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle sped away driving, irradicably, and committed multiple traffic violations.

The vehicle refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit. The vehicle pursuit ended at Williamson Street and Pete Harris Street, and the driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

The driver, Lane Frost, was eventually caught and taken into custody by Shreveport Police K-9, “Enzo”. Lane Frost (11-1-8-97) was charged with Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Felony Hit and Run, resisting an arrest. Frost was treated for minor injuries sustained during his resistance.
